About me

Rashpal Panesar-Gipson (They/She)

Hello you, Amazing Human!

I love working with support workers, social workers, case managers- people like you who help others!!

You know it’s also not always easy, or plain-sailing, so let’s enjoy life including all it’s messiness!

I’m Rashpal, a Life Coach, Wellbeing session facilitator, business-owner, parent, partner and a load of other things- needless to say, life keeps me busy.

I use the pronouns they/them and she/her.

I love exclamation marks, emojis, food and drink, clouds and am really geeky about stationery.

My big passion is empowerment. I also value honesty, listening, inclusion, and community.

So it won't surprise you to hear that I’ve ALWAYS been a helper at heart- from a very young age.

Here I am now, holding a safe time and space to

  • Hear you,
  • Take interest,
  • Believe in you
  • Let you lead and
  • Help you use your own resources to move forward through challenges.

I learn alongside you, practicing what I preach! I use the tools we discuss and explore, practicing for instance mindfulness, yoga and affirmations.

It's important to me that I'm also growing and developing in my practice and as a person too and regularly enjoy continuous professional development through reading, training and supervision.

A Helper at Heart- My Story

Here's a whistle-stop tour of how I got here (not on this webpage, I mean being a life coach ha, ha!) and how I can help you.

I developed my helping skills, knowledge and experience over 15 years of working in homelessness, addiction, criminal justice and community charities .

I thoroughly enjoyed the 1:1 support, the connection with the people I worked with, the potential for change and the incredible difference when it happened.

But I was stuck. For years.

I knew I wanted something different and I wasn't confident enough I my own abilities to seek it out.

After getting some support around my own mindset and beliefs, I decided it was now or never and set myself up as a life coach.

Suddenly I believed in myself and it was and is amazing

I finally felt like I was doing what I was 'called' to do.

I'm still a bit surprised by the feelings which were so alien to me before.

Putting myself first and believing in my own worth was such a massive turning point .

I know what it's like to be fully committed to your role and lack space and time for yourself.

Working long hours and putting your client at the centre of their journey is so amazing for the people you work with.

“From the start Rashpal has asked what seems
be just the right questions at the right time to get me to think about and acknowledge things that I was unaware were causing me problems.”
Beth Cook, Writer
Everything just seemed really hard to change at that point in my life. Rashpal helped me identify small steps that made a huge impact in my life."
